The Country House at Hunchy is only 5 minutes from iconic artisan Montville and a little further from Maleny with all their popular shops, restaurants, galleries and cafes. We are central to everything the Sunshine Coast and its Hinterland have to offer the visitor. The Country House at Hunchy is perfect for romantic getaways, honeymoons, anniversaries, birthday celebrations or just a relaxing, tranquil and private stay after a busy day shopping, browsing, bush-walking, sightseeing or at the beach. Relax and enjoy the country environment in your own beautifully appointed suite, on your private veranda or down by the swimming pool. A sumptuous 3 course breakfast is available and served in our spacious dining room with spectacular views along the rain forest valley to the coast and Coral Sea. We are exclusive: this is a huge homestead but we only have the 2 King Spa Guest Suites for guest accommodation. The Rainforest Suite is our showcase luxury accommodation and for some of our guests this is their favourite accommodation selection. Other guests prefer The Bottlebrush Suite with its quicker access to the pool area. We complement this environment with delicious home cooked food using only the best quality locally sourced organic and natural produce and discerning service. We offer 2 rates including a Premium Luxury Plan which includes a full breakfast, a welcome bottle of wine, and unlimited coffee and teas. Set in the beautiful tranquil Hunchy Valley, The Country House at Hunchy is 5 minutes drive from iconic Montville with its cafes, restaurants, art galleries and boutiques. Enjoy fantastic views of the Blackall Range and across the rain forest right down to the coast. All the Sunshine Coast Hinterland national parks, waterfalls and walking trails are on our doorstep. It's only a short drive to all the famous and popular Sunshine Coast beaches and a little longer drive north rewards you with cosmopolitan Noosa. On the way to Noosa, Eumundi markets are a must-do. Yandina, Maleny and Montville also have their own markets on rotating weekends and there are more exciting markets experiences on the coast itself.
