Offering free WiFi and free continental breakfast, the historic Chalet Guesthouse is centrally located in the Upper Blue Mountains. Set in a quiet area away from the highway, it boasts a heritage dining room with an open fireplace. Chalet Guesthouse and Studio is a 10-minute walk from the The Hydro Majestic, local cafes and shops. Blackheath, Katoomba, Leura and Wentworth Falls are all within 15 minutes’ drive. All rooms come with a small refrigerator and tea/coffee making facilities. Your private en suite bathroom includes a hairdryer and bathrobes. The Chalet staff can provide sightseeing advice, maps and directions, and assist guests with travel arrangements.

I love to let guests know about some of the lesser known spots around the Blue Mountains. It is a very beautiful part of the world and I enjoy seeing people relax and take time to enjoy the surrounding landscape, the numerous walks, incredible food and eclectic shops.

The Chalet is an historic building with a relaxed atmosphere. It is filled with an extensive art collection, including works by renowned Australian artists, lots of ceramics, sculpture, glass and other collectables. It is like staying overnight in an art gallery.
