Wattle is a retro semi-detached holiday house, only 2 mins walk to the the middle of Pearl beach. The property is suitable for a maximum of 4 adults or up to 6 with skids. Furnishings are retro, comfy beds were a must for us, and we’ve included creature comforts such as air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, Netflix, family board games, and a coffee machine to ensure enjoyment for the whole family. The feature is the back deck and yard. Although shared with the semi next door (you can rent ‘Lilly Pilly’ too if you want both semi’s to yourself!), most of our time (and likely yours) will be spent out back enjoying the sounds of the birds and crashing waves. Each side of the deck has its own table setting. Shared BBQ, and shared beach ‘toys’ and amenities in the back shed, including beach wagon, sandcastle buckets & spades, beach cricket set, lawn games (Klop, Bocce), small kids bikes and helmets. Dogs under 10kg are permitted.
We are a family of 4 plus fur baby, that enjoys an Inner West lifestyle of cafes and breweries, as well as the rest and respite of family time in Pearl Beach. We are passionate about live music (watching and playing), sport (watching and playing) and movie night (watching and eating popcorn!!!).
We fell in love with this house and Pearl Beach as soon as we saw it. A extraordinarily serene enclave of paradise for our two young children and Cavoodle to explore and enjoy nature. Locals here have an environmental and sustainability focus, with a local arboretum, beautiful beach, lookouts and nature walks. Everything is within walking distance, including the local cafe, general store, and fine dining restaurant Pearls on the Beach. To the south of the beach are calm waters and ocean pool for kids to swim in. To the north of the beach is a 24 hour dog friendly beach that our Cavoodle loves doing laps of. It is the perfect destination for guests wanting a relaxing family holiday within easy reach of Sydney.
