Famous for its wineries, pristine beaches and fine food, the Mornington Peninsula is perfect for a holiday or a mini escape at any time of year. Miriam invites guests to share this spectacular property and experience waking to the sounds of the country. The private self-contained cottages are surrounded by fields of grazing horse herds. Set on 10 picturesque acres at the gateway to the stunning Mornington Peninsula, Wilindi Estate is the perfect place to relax and get a taste of peaceful farm life. Wilindi Estate offers two, 2-bedroom cottages, each with their own private, fenced garden. Interiors have been curated with an eclectic mix of contemporary and antique farm furnishings. The cosy living area with garden views includes a fully equipped kitchen with bench top oven and dishwasher. The stylish master bedroom boasts raked ceiling providing a spacious ambiance. A unique, porthole window also doubles as a reading seat where you can while away the hours enjoying the view of the property. A plush velvet queen bed adds a touch of luxury. The second bedroom offers a bunk bed to sleep
Miriam Heatherich has a long history of working with both vulnerable children and animals. Registered nationally with the Australian Not-for-profit and Charity Commission, Herd Harmony operates from Wilindi Estate, at Tyabb on the Mornington Peninsula. At this location, Miriam continues to work with animals and children, providing a unique educational experience for her guests and their families. Miriam has successfully rescued horses from the slaughter pipeline and others who have been abandoned. A team of qualified equine vets, dentists and farriers provide integral support in nurturing each horse back to full health. Once well, the horse can be then be behaviourally assessed, trained and eventually, re-homed. With a passion for supporting vulnerable children and animals, Miriam combines supporting these two causes in creating the rescue organization 'Herd Harmony'.
