Neighbourhood information

Richmond is close to everything. You won't have to drive long to get anywhere. It's popular with local families and has many family friendly facilities like parks, playgrounds, public library, shops, cafes, restaurants, etc. Approximate distance/drive times according to my Navi at the time of writing: Adelaide Airport: 2.1km/3min drive. The home is not directly under the flight path, but it is close to the airport. You do get a great view of the planes flying in low from the front yard which our kids love. Ikea 2.6km/5min drive Chinatown 4.8km/10min drive Adelaide city CBD/UniSA 5.1km/10min drive Royal Adelaide Hospital/Adelaide University Medical School/Dental School 5.3km/10min drive Harbour Town Premium Outlet Shopping Precinct 5.4km/7min drive Beach 5.7km/8min drive Rundle Mall 6km/12min drive The closest bus stop into the city is on Marion road (about 3min walk). From there you can catch a bus into the city which takes about 10mins depending on where in the city you want to go. You can also catch buses straight into the city from Sir Donald Bradman Drive if you want to walk a bit further and explore the neighbourhood on the way.
