Upon arrival we will provide you with a welcome bottle of wine. As well, you will receive a mix of foods, juice, tea and coffee to create your continental breakfast. Bring along a couple of friends and treasure your memories. Casa Barbera is unique to Mintaro. Whilst one couple will relish the facilities of the main area, the whole property is best experienced and enjoyed with two couples sharing the combined spaces. With timber walls and a vaulted ceiling, the kitchen, dining and living area offer a sumptuous experience for guests. The two bedrooms have king sized beds and adjacent bathrooms. A laundry and associated hanging space is available if needed. The open plan interior overlooks a furnished terrace and sweeping views of the vines and beyond. A mini webber barbecue can be found on the front patio.

Having worked in country, city and international locations, we both love exploring and discovering food, wine, music and new horizons. In Mintaro we greatly enjoy helping our guests to do the same in our village and the Clare Valley.

The heritage town of Mintaro is set in South Australia's beautiful mid-north countryside and seems to have remained locked in a time of simpler living and pleasures. Our friendly village is a fabulous place to rest and then to step back in time and begin exploring. Whilst grand attractions such as Martindale Hall, the Mintaro Maze and world renowned wineries and restaurants abound and are certainly well worth visiting; a slow walk around the town sometimes brings unexpected delights.
