Step back in time in a grand, chic and stunning home-unequalled in the Blue Mountains, right next to the National Park. Nature on your doorstep, serenity, timeless elegance with gorgeous Jamison Valley and escarpment views on your two private acres. Listen and you will hear the wind rustling in the trees and the songs of birds - we even have a pair of nesting lyrebirds who live in the garden! This 140-year-old heritage listed estate has 4 bedrooms, lofty high pressed ceilings, 2 separate living areas, fully-equipped open plan kitchen, 2 full bathrooms, fireplaces and clawfoot bathtub. Carramar Estate has original artworks, Welsh slate roof, 140-year-old marble fireplaces and crystal chandeliers. We are investing every cent back into restoring the home and gardens, and plan to donate it to the Heritage House Trust one day. By choosing to stay here you will be helping to support the restoration of a landmark home. One of the last remaining grand estates in the Blue Mountains, right alongside Blue Mountains National Park with stunning mountain views, and your own private 2 acres. Carramar is mere footsteps away from the Valley of the Waters, Wentworth Falls Conservation Hut and the regions most beautiful lookouts. The house is well equipped for creating delicious meals with a 7 burner gas range, coffee machine, and great cooking equipment, as well outdoor dining and BBQ spaces. Pets are only allowed with approval, all guests must be declared, and we have a camera at the front door to protect the heritage listed property
Hi - We are Liesl and Robert. We love to travel also, and hope you enjoy sharing our home as much as we enjoy sharing with others. I fell in love with Carramar Estate when I started a hike 15 years ago, and never forgot it. It is just one of those places Taking on the restoration of a landmark estate is a huge responsibility and a great joy We will not be staying at the property, you have absolute privacy and can let yourself in and out without contact However we have a local assistant, handyman and groundsperson who all live nearby and will be on hand if you need anything
Situated right next to the Blue Mountains National Park, step out of the front door and onto hiking trails to Wentworth Falls, Empress Falls, Valley of the Waters, and stunning lookouts. Wentworth Falls and Leura offer boutique shopping experiences, charming cafes and fine dining experiences. Leura Mall is 5 mins drive away and Wentworth Falls village is 2 mins away. Private parking on the grounds behind your own electric gate. No need for a car to reach hiking trails - they are literally next door. Leura Mall and Woolworths is 5 mins drive away
