Blyth Retreat is in the heart of Great Bay and situated in the center of Bruny Island. Blyth Retreat is an ideal place to explore Bruny Island. Surrounded by a bush setting with water views. With a short stroll down the hill you have access to the beach via a track on the main road. Take a 6min walk along the beach or road to the cheese Company or take a 2 min drive. You are only 5 mins drive from the start of Cape Queen Elizabeth walking track. With fast free Wi-Fi enjoy watching Netflix. This sunny warm inviting property consists of 2 bedrooms one with Queen and Double bed along with contemporary style bathroom with an open plan living, modern kitchen & lounge designed with comfort in mind you wish . Multiple Outdoor entertainment areas, whether you wish to watch the sunset around the fire pit ,soak in the outside bath, or cook on the BBQ on the deck boasting the water views. Or sit back and relax on the large lounge whilst listening to your favorite music through the sound bar. All Whilst looking out the window watching the ever changing water view with the trees blowing in the breeze enjoying the birdlife within a peaceful bushland surrounding.

You will find when you stay with Blyth Retreat that my hospitality and interpersonal skills will shine as it always has. We are proud to support Blueline Laundry who provide meaningful employment for the people with a disabilities and from disadvantaged background. All linen is supplied and watched by Blueline Laundry ay a commercial high grade. Check in is via a key safe with code provided on the day, you have the house and property all to yourself. I am only a phone call away if you have any concerns or inquiries.
Great Bay is in a quite bush setting environment. But yet close to the beach via a small track from the main road. You will need to walk about 200m down the hill to the main road to access the track. Or you can park the car at the bottom of the road. Only a 10min walk to the famous Bruny Island Cheese Company and short drive to the Get Shucked Oysters. You are less then 15 minutes drive to the Bruny Island neck and if you are lucky you may see the penguins for a night time viewing. Please remember to bring a torch with a red light if visiting the penguins. Your 4 mins drive to the Scenic Flight Tours. Cape Queen Elizabeth walking track is only a 7min drive to the start of the track. You will need to have a car to travel around Bruny Island. Not all roads are sealed, However there is so much to see where roads are sealed. Don’t forget to share and follow us with your stay @blyth_retreat
