There is an early morning drive-through coffee and food van just 100 metres away on the round-about - corner of Witt Street and Sydney Road. There is also an ice-cream parlour, coffee, donuts and lolly shop next to the coffee van for any sweet-tooths :-)

Benalla is the closest-town accommodation to Winton Motor Raceway - just 10 kms - for all the motoring enthusiasts. The V8 Supercars / Supersprints circus incorporates a Championship round at Winton into their annual calendar. Benalla is home to our renowned regional Art Gallery. Benalla Art Gallery hosts exhibitions all year round. The gallery’s exhibition building also incorporates The Munro and Sergeant Cafe which has a delightful balcony overlooking the picturesque Lake Benalla. International and local artists’ wall-art is plentiful and extremely popular around Benalla. Benalla is central to part of Victoria's Silo-art trail. Just 10 minutes drive to Goorambat - then on to St James and the Devenish displays. The three towns are all within 8 minutes of each other. A fantastic new community Splash Park was completed in 2021 on the banks of Lake Benalla.

Benalla forms part of the Ned Kelly Trail and is 10 minutes drive from Glenrowan. The King Valley with its wine and cheeses offers great wine tasting and is also only 15/20 mins drive depending on your choice of venue. Great for day trips. The Winton Wetlands and Lake Mokoan are just 5 minutes and 10 km away. Take a stroll through the Wetlands and surrounds. Have a bite to eat at the Hub Cafe or check out the water tower mural which also forms part of the multitude of wall and Silo-Art around Benalla and surrounds. The Victorian snowfields are also close by. It is 65kms to picturesque Mansfield which is closest to Mount Buller. Mount Hotham and Falls Creek are a little further away, being just over an hour's travelling time in good weather. All in all Benalla is a great destination and central to many tourist attractions of North East Victoria.
