Located directly on the shores of Lake Faak, this family-run hotel combines beautiful views of the Karawanken mountains with a cosy atmosphere, a wide range of sports and spa options, and refined gourmet cuisine. The extensive sauna area features a sanarium (herbal sauna), a Finnish Aquaviva sauna, a hot sauna, an ice fountain and a Turkish steam bath with an artificial starry sky. The Karnerhof's hotel restaurant serves light dishes for sports and spa guests, as well as regional specialities from Carinthia and Mediterranean cuisine inspired by the proximity to Italy. The chef himself buys the fresh ingredients on the regional weekly markets. In fair weather you can also dine on the lakeside terrace. The studios, suites, apartments and rooms are very spacious and equipped with all modern amenities. Most offer wonderful views of the lake.
