Gerd and I are very close to nature and sports enthusiasts, so for us the Lechtal is the most beautiful home. We are also with our girls a lot of hiking, cycling, skiing,... therefore we want to offer you the opportunity to get to know this beautiful valley. Our vacation home is located in the middle of the Lechtal and is therefore the ideal starting point for activities in the Allgäu and Lech Valley Alps. Especially worth mentioning is the Lechweg, which leads over 125km from Lech am Arlberg through our beautiful valley to Füssen near the border. In addition to hiking, there are many other possibilities in summer, such as cycling, climbing, mountain climbing, swimming and much more. So that the fun is not too short, we can recommend the summer toboggan run Wally Blitz and rafting. Even in winter there are plenty of activities like ice skating, tobogganing, ski touring, snowshoeing, romantic carriage ride and skiing. One of the biggest ski resorts Warth-Lech-Zürs can be reached in 23 km- either by private car or comfortably by free bus. The family ski area Jöchelspitze is only 4km away. In the village there is a ski school with three children's lifts. In Elbigenalp are two supermarkets, several restaurants, bars, two banks, doctor, hairdresser, gym, tourist office, bus stops, small museum Wunderkammer and the famous open-air stage.
