Maggie’s is located in the heart of Antigua, within walking distance of the busy streets of downtown St. John's, the public market, Mount St. John Medical Center and major bus terminals. It is within a few minutes walking distance of bus routes to beaches located on the southern coast including Jolly Beach and Darkwood Beach. Bus routes to English Harbour and the historic Nelson's Dockyard are also within a few walking distance.

We have maps and other materials to provide information and direction to places on island. However, we are also very approachable and available anytime to offer guests local tips on how to get around and where to go!

Maggie's is located in a residential or local neighborhood. In addition to groceries and personal items, guests can purchase delicious island-style breakfast from the neighborhood shop which is less than a two minutes walk away. Simple bars and restaurants are also within easy walking distance. Guests can, therefore, enjoy a game of pool, drink a beer, interact with the locals, or have a quick, affordable meal! As is typical in residential areas or villages in the Caribbean Islands, the neighborhood is interspersed by churches of various denominations. So if you happen to visit us on a Sunday, you may hear a brief early morning service, lasting about one hour from our neighbor, which is an Anglican church. Maggie’s is only a few minutes walking distance away from major public bus routes! Guests can easily hop onto public transportation and enjoy the historic sites, beaches, and restaurants at the famous English Harbour. The nearby public bus routes also pass by most beaches on the southern part of the island such as Jolly Beach, Fryes Beach, and Darkwood Beach. If you're not in the mood to walk to the City, no problem! The bus route is only a few minutes away!
