The staff and volunteers were extremely kind and attentive and quickly make you feel part of the hostel community. Within a few hours of arriving we had visitors by the pool (zebras!). The hostel was extremely clean and well decorated. The pool was clean and great for when you need to cool down. There were different spaces to mingle with others or have some quiet time/do work if you wish. The tours were awesome - despite it being a scorcher of a day we saw a plethora of wildlife! The hostel doesn’t host too many guests, which creates an intimate feel and makes it easier to get to know everyone. By the end of the trip, you will feel like part of the hostel family. I hope to visit again and will recommend to friends! 🌻

This is a gem. We loved the views and surrounding areas, a unique experience. Great stopover on the Panorama Route. Loved that it had indoor and outdoor fireplace and was very convenient.

We were one of the only guests staying and the fairly secluded property with its mountain views, trees and a little lake felt like a peace haven. We had a fully equipped kitchen in our private spacious room and could also use the communal area with a pool table in the main house. The host and his mum were very nice and we were greeted by the residential goose, two cute dogs and cat everyday in the outside lounge area. Would definitely stay again!
