I had my own room which was clean, spacious and very quiet at night. Staff was very friendly and helped with everything like excursions, renting bikes and food recommendations, thank you guys:). All in all a great place to stay at the beautiful Cat Ba island.

Jan 2025: Excellent front desk reception - Bobby (great smile, good English, helpful, courteous), Sonny (loved his humour) Our room was spacious, had good plugs for our chargers, a small work desk and a balcony - always a plus. Bed was comfortable and they had slippers for us. The door to our room was interesting, a gentle glow of light once all lights are shut off. We had arrived early, without a reservation, and they warmly welcomed us and asked us to reserve on Booking.com, which we did. We looked at two rooms - 3rd /7h floors. I liked being higher, we were warned that room might be noisy due to the top floor terrace where breakfast is served. Noise was not an issue at all. Lovely to be able to walk one floor up for the free breakfast/coffee. They had plenty of food and drink specials. We rented a scooter here. They arranged our ongoing transportation. Got us ginger tea when bus was late. Great value. Easy access to whatever you need.

Beautiful spot way out in nature far from all the other places to stay on the island. Had a wonderful time here catching up with some friends I knew were here ~ if you're alone & there's no-one around it might seem a bit isolated but if you want the nature tip & especially if you know there are people here then it's perfect! Nice pool too, & the place is well equipped as a music venue if there's anything actually going on (not always..!)

Ben and Ori were excellent volunteers and made the stay phenomena. The pool is very clean for a hostel and the burgers were surprisingly good. The free breakfast is all you can eat off the breakfast menu and really makes the cost of the stay a great value.
