I was in DC and I stayed there 1 week. It was very nice to stay at this place, which actually is more a house than a hostel ! It was very clean (as clean as a normal family house), warm, quiet (during January), cosy and the owners did their best for the guests (every day they offered us a nice breakfast with pancakes, coffee etc and they were always smiling)! It is undoubtedly recommended even for longer stays than mine!

Excellent administration, very friendly staff starting with the manager until the cleaners lady, very close to everything, full kitchen, very clean restroom, kitchen and living room, breakfast included cafe, juice, pancakes.. definitely I will go again.. the best price perhaps with some quality in dc it’s Duo Housing,

DC International Hostel 1 is located in Mount Vernon Square, 1 km from DC convention centre and from Old Dominion Brew House. Free WiFi access is available. when it comes to more than 5 stars they really deserve more. from the moment I arrived mr. Illy explained to me perfectly the city. they are always trying to do their best to let you comfort and enjoy your staying their. finally I received 2 packages from USPS after I left the hostel however Mr. Illy thankfully received it and sent it to me to New York.
