I decided to book a better backpacker hostel for my trip to Chiang Mai (yet still stay within a budget), that’s why I had chosen Baan Heart Thai. Have to say, this hostel exceeded my expectations in every way. The double bed was super comfortable, the bed cubicle was spacious and well-lit enough for me to spend hours reading in it, and the hostel compound was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was included, and it was great! I didn’t need to think about going out for breakfast at all. Just enjoyed what the hostel offered. The location was great — within walkable distance to some of the attractions and night markets Chiang Mai. And most importantly, the owners were friendly, polite, and helpful. I enjoyed the small talks I had with them. Highly recommended. I will be back to this hostel when I visit Chiang Mai again soon.

Situated in Chiang Mai and within 500 metres of Tha Pae Gate, Comfort Zone Hostel @ Tha Pae has a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. It was in a very convenient location the hosts were kind hearted people I will definitely stay here again. I live an hour away from Chiang mais and often come on the weekends and before coming I saw the exceptional reviews. Luckily when I got there it was only me and one another lady staying in the room so that was perfect.

Situated in Pai, less than 1 km from Pai Bus station, Society House Luxury Hostel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a bar. A really peaceful place to stay, a 5 minute walk from town. There was everything I needed, free coffee, dishes, fridge and microwave, as well as a washing machine and dryer, but also a spacious clothes line. The bathrooms are beautiful and kept clean, the beds have curtains for privacy and are a solid build, so you don't feel your "bunk buddy" moving around

Featuring a shared lounge, a terrace as well as a tennis court, Blue Moon House - A budget hostel for easy travellers is located in the centre of Chiang Mai, 700 metres from Chedi Luang Temple. Best breakfast I've had in a hotel in South East Asia so far. Simply outstanding. The girl at reception is so kind and nice. Room with private bathroom is simple but exactly what you need and pay for. Location is perfect.
