Set in Ko Kood, less than 1 km from Takhian Beach, Eve house koh kood offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The enthusiastic, friendly welcome when we arrived (and every time after). The family bungalow was so spacious for just the two of us and having air conditioning was a blessing on a few occasions. The two wooden lounge chairs on our porch were a lot more comfy than the looked! Cheap scooter rental on site. Location on the main road made for easy access to everything, on sealed roads. Having said that, the bungalows are set well back from the road, in the large garden that backs onto the jungle, so its beautiful tropical sounds you experience, not road noise. Last but not least, the delicious food at the restaurant, where we ate two nights out of the three. The curries and stir-fries were amazing and I daydream about the bananas in coconut milk and mango shakes!
