Set within 1.1 km of Kanchanaburi Railway Station and 2.7 km of The Bridge of the River Kwai, No.9 Hostel kanchanaburi offers rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Ban Don Rak. The hostel only opened in November 2023 and the two sisters running it were very helpful during my stay. It is in a nice location to be able walk to a lot of things and the rooms/bathrooms were clean.

Facing the beachfront, Asleep Hostel offers 2-star accommodation in Kanchanaburi and features a private beach area, shared lounge and terrace. Everyone was super friendly, the hostel is right next to the train station and the night market, and about 20-30 minutes away on foot from the minivan station and the bridge. You can rent a scooter at the hostel. The bus to Erawan Falls stops near the hostel. Highly recommended!

Property is quite in the middle of everything in Kanchanaburi. Train station, bus terminal, river bank and night market are less than 10 minutes away on foot. River Kwai Bridge is a few minutes by grab bike. 7-11 and laundry service is a few minutes away. Room is big and clean. Bed is huge though slightly hard. Strong AC and good hot shower. I do wish the water pressure can be stronger. YouTube is accessible on the TV. Wifi connection is excellent. Host is very friendly and quick in response. Checking in and out were a breeze. The attached cafe serves good coffee and delicious food. Would definitely stay here again if I were to visit Kanchanaburi again.

The staff was helpfull and very nice ! The room was perfect and the bed very comfortable. In the morning you can choose your breakfast will very tasty fruits. I strongly recommend !

This little motel is situated right in the heart of the city. Location-wise, it is the best place to explore the key sights of Kanchanaburi. Just 100 meters from the front door, you’ll find the JEATH War Museum, a platform to hop on/off the train that crosses the river to Nam Tok, a pier to catch a fast boat taxi, a money exchange, several dining options, and the cozy, lively nightly "living room" atmosphere of the Kwai River Bridge Plaza. We stayed for three nights in a family room on the third floor with an ensuite bathroom. While there was occasional noise from other guests, the street traffic didn’t bother us at night. We enjoyed an à la carte breakfast in the downstairs cafeteria, starting at 8:30 am, and the service was friendly. When leaving for another part of the country, the staff used family connections to arrange a taxi ride, saving us a full day of travel through Bangkok. The cost was far less than anything I could find using online services. Although considered a youth hostel, the service here goes above and beyond for the price point. I highly recommend it and would definitely book again.

Oh how I've fallen in love with Revs, can't wait to explore the rest that only get better than Kanchan! A time to remember with Keegan the legend and his huge heart, Aimee being an absolute gem and if you're not impressed by Matilda's backgammon skills, you can learn a thing or 2 as she gets freaky in the sheets. Shoutout to Lewis and Chloe for facilitating activities and making the stay as smooth as ever, couldn't have asked for a better crowd
