The hostel is located next to a river, slightly uphill from the quiet village - on a clear day, the mountain backdrop is quite stunning. Easy to reach if you have a car, bus connection to Bled station is also easy to find. It’s the perfect location if your main purpose is visiting Vintgar gorge (about 20mins walk from the hostel). The second I stepped in, it felt like staying at a friend’s house. Katya & Ryan are exceptionally friendly, they’re very knowledgeable about the area. They provided one of the best breakfast I’ve had in hostels. Rooms were clean, bathrooms & toilets were spacious. The nearby river creates a relaxed ambience, we can also sit next to the water on a hammock or stools they provided.

Such a cute hostel! Host was so accommodating after we checked in late after a big few days of hiking, so generous and the facilities are great. We simply love 💕 the Life Hostel. It is better than a hotel. The building and the location couldn’t be better. Radovljica is a sweetest little town with a lot going on. We love the music festival among many other things. The breakfast has improved tremendously after the renovation.
