Situated in Färjestaden and with Saxnäs Golf Course reachable within 6.3 km, STF Station Linné features express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi throughout the property... I’ve never been in such kind of accommodations before and I was surprised :) Rooms are tiny and simple, but it feels cozy and close to nature. Shared kitchen was fully equipped and clean. It’s fine to chill out or play some badminton outside (what we did each evening). There are several terrariums with insects, very exciting :) I was surprised that it was quiet and we didn’t hear our neighbors at all, sleeping like a baby :)

Located in Eksjö and with Olsbergs Arena reachable within 600 metres, Vandrarhemmet Garvaren gamla stan Eksjö provides a garden, allergy-free rooms, free WiFi and a shared lounge. This hostel is an ideal base for exploring this picturesque town. We stayed in room number 2, which had two comfortable single beds, a desk and chairs with a view of the canal. The shared bathroom facilities along the corridors were clean and well-lit, and the kitchen was well-equipped with all the appliances you’d need to prepare meals, including a table for dining. If you prefer to cook your own food, this setup is very convenient. We appreciated how easy it was to access the keys through the key box system, which made check-in hassle-free. We opted for bed linen at an additional cost to avoid bringing our own, and this worked seamlessly. The pricing was reasonable, adding to the overall great value for money. It’s worth noting that there are two parts to the hostel—one in a historic building from the 1600s and another in a little more modern structure. Both options have their own charm, depending on what you’re looking for. The older one has a fireplace and sitting area. Overall, Vandrarhemmet Gästgivargården is a delightful and affordable place to stay, with excellent cleanliness and facilities. Highly recommended for those visiting Eksjö on a budget!

Situated in Urshult, 50 km from Linné Park, Kurrebo features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a bar. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen and free WiFi. Amazing vegetarian evening buffet, amazing cakes, (breakfast menue could have had some more vegan options compared to dinner), great value for price. Lovely garden around the property, great location close to Asnen lake and national park. Clean and lovely property, facilitys are a bit improvised here and there which for us wasn't a problem

Set in Borgholm, 1.7 km from Mejeriviken Beach, Rosenfors Vandrarhem offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and barbecue facilities. Nice place not far from the supermarket, excellent lawn and tables for dinner

Situated in Borgholm, 19 km from Öland Golf Course, Marsjö Gård Bo & Yoga vandrarhem features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. MARSJÖ GÅRD BO & YOGA is a high-quality hostel surrounded by nature and just a few km from Borgholm. If that doesn't already sound fantastic, let me add that the peculiarity of this hostel is to offer two yoga sessions included in the stay for all guests! You will experience a suggestive relaxation session in the evening and a regenerating yoga shake in the morning. What else? The hostel looks wonderful, both from the outside and inside, the rooms are nice and cosy (you must provide your bed linen and towels or they are available for rent in the hostel) and you can prepare your meals in the well-equipped kitchen. Mia and Lasse placed their effort into the customization and improvement of each of the areas of the place with great attention to detail. They put their heart into this project. The result is a relaxing and awesome place a few steps from Lofta Kustväg, an evocative country road that runs along the sea and that you can comfortably travel by bike (also available for rent at the reception). I can only assign five well-deserved stars! If you go there, don't forget to order the vegan breakfast at check-in. You can thank me later ;)

Located in Vimmerby and with Olsbergs Arena reachable within 50 km, Körsbärskullen provides a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a shared lounge. A great place to stay in for families. A unique hostel with interesting history, located in a region where Astrid Lindgren's books are a living story. Owners where very helpful and made plenty of recommendations on what to visit in the neighbourhood. A very well equiped and organized kitchen. Kids had planty of space to play. Parents also had a cosy library to relax in.

Set in Hestra, 29 km from Store Mosse Nationalpark, Hestra Guesthouse offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Great location, very clean, modern and well organized kitchen. The bathroom closest to our room was big and clean with excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water!

Situated in Tranås and with Åsens By Culture Reserve reachable within 38 km, Tranås Vandrarhem features express check-in and check-out, allergy-free rooms, a garden, free WiFi throughout the property... I spent two nights there in total and was very satisfied. The location in the middle of the forest, however, is only a few minutes from the city infrastructure. The authenticity and comfort of this place is amazing! + excellent cleanliness

Situated in Haurida, 200 metres from Åsens By Culture Reserve, Åsens By features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. Wonderful super sweet cottage location great the complex is a superb working farm just wish we could have stayed longer.
