Lovely host, very responsive and kind. The rooms (one twin room, one supreme) were cozy and lovingly furnished with a beautiful view. Both rooms, bathrooms and all linen/towels/etc were spotlessly clean. The kitchen had every appliance you might need and then some. We had breakfast from the accommodation and otherwise made our own food. Snacks were available for purchase. We can especially recommend this accommodation for families with kids, as there is a very nice playground on the premises. This is a hidden gem and overall great value for money!

This hostel is 2 km outside Kalix town centre and only 2 minutes’ drive from the nearest supermarket. Guests can cook and dine in the fully equipped communal kitchen. It s very clean and tidy. The host was super nice. very reactive and helpful. The location is good for joining polar explorer ice breaker. Absolute good value for money.

Piteå Vandrarhem is located in the building which was formerly Piteå's first hospital. Located in the beautiful Badhusparken with the peaceful adjacent canal and walking distance to downtown. Beautiful room, much bigger than expected. There were a lot of small cozy touches, such as vases of flowers on the table and on the windowsill, and small lamps everywhere so you can create warm pools of light around the room. Kitchen was well-stocked and we had everything we needed to keep clean. Hotel had personal touches that set it apart from the larger hotels in the center.
