The owner explained everything about facility at my arrival and the room is very clean and quiet (I could hear other guests talking but they slept early). Supermarket, restaurants, gas station are nearby (in 5-10min by car) and this place was on the way to my next stop (perfect location for me).

This central Rättvik hostel is 1 km from Lake Siljan and 25 minutes’ drive from Leksand Sommarland Water Park. It offers a communal kitchen. We wanted to stay in the town of Rattvik and this seemed like a good choice for our party of 4. We are well past the youth hostel stage in our traveling, but our quad room was perfect for our one night stay. There were many Swedish families and adults staying there and the experience was way better than we feared from a "hostel". Highly recommend it.

Scenically set in the village of Sörsjön, this hostel is 35 km north of Sälen at the base of Fulufjället Mountain. It offers communal kitchen facilities and spa treatments on site. The landlord was very friendly, the house is very cozy and huge, the shared bathroom is very clean and you can see the pretty sky at night. 35-40 minutes driver to the ski resort Sälen.
