I initially was going to Sines then decided not to as I had read that there was not much to see there and it was more of an industrial port. So we decided on Porto Covo instead… and I’m so glad we did… Porto Covo is a charming little fishing village.. Our host at Quartos Abelha was welcoming and there was pride taken in every detail. It is not modern with all the fancy bells and whistles but it is exceptionally clean in a brilliant location that is quiet and is in an authentic Portuguese location. A beautiful sleepy fishing village with a good array of restaurants and bars…
