Even though I was initially shy, others were quick to reach out. They also have a group chat where you can connect and ask questions, plus they organize potlucks and family dinners every so often. The people are friendly, making it an ideal spot for a solo traveler like me.

Katre Siargao - SELF CHECK-IN Budget Hostel ligger i San Isidro, blot få skridt fra Pacifico Strand og 11 km fra Magpupungko Rock Pools. Der tilbydes værelser med aircondition og eget badeværelse. Might be one of the most comfortable, if not THE most comfortable hostel on the island! Clean rooms, clean toilets, clean sheets. Chill rooftop kitchen with a hammock and ocean views. The hosts were the best, so friendly and incredibly accommodating. Will definitely be back the next time we’re in Pacifico!

Casavia Siargao ligger i Catangnan og har have, fælles lounge, bar og gratis wi-fi overalt. Everything is perfect. Really recommend! The staff also super informative especially “Carlos” he’s the best. They provide everything and cheap compared to the town prices! And the location is really close to surfing spots which is great 😊

Dormitory near SM and S and R ligger i Davao City, under 2 km fra SM City Davao og 2,9 km fra People's Park. It’s very clean. The linen and towels all smelled freshly laundered. There was no musty smell. The hallway and room was neat and tidy. My mom was with me so the elevator was very convenient. It is along the hi-way and in a gated building with security guard, so it is safe. It is about 5 minutes by taxi to SM City Ecoland. Strong internet connection, too. Best of all are the staff/owner - they’re very kind, accommodating, and polite (salamat po ng marami, maam and sir. God bless you po.)

Loved loved loved my stay at Vedya! Booked 2 nights unaware that their restaurant is fully vegan and almost cried tears of joy :‘) Looking at previous reviews, this place only seems to attract the right crowd! I travelled solo but made friends on my first day and we had beers and a bonfire in the evening, went island hopping, surfing and partying together even after I left to stay at another hostel. Special shoutout to Bea for her hospitality and Jaja for being the best barista there is! Can‘t wait to come back already!

Soffta Surf Ranch ligger i General Luna, 100 m fra General Luna Strand, og har have, terrasse og udsigt til haven. Soffta is an amazing place with an awesome vibe. Good people. Well positioned. Nice rooms and big kitchen for sharing with the rest of the people. I recomend it 100%
