After a week wandering around Cebu staying in other huts, we still like this hut the most. It's cosy, convenient, and the staff was friendly. Lovely ppl to interact with. The ensuite toilet was interesting. Overall a good experience. Also, they have a vegetarian restaurant outside, and their mushroom sisig is dangerously delicious!

MAAYONG HOSTEL is a quiet and chill hostel in Panagsama road in barangay Basdiot, ideally located 250 meters from Panagsama Beach & the famous sardine run and 2 minutes walk from the bars, restaurants... The perfect place to stay in Moalboal. We stayed in the huts and it was perfect for our 5 night stay. (There is construction at the moment but it didn't bother us). The staff couldn't be nicer & they were so helpful. We had breakfast there every morning and it was delicious! The location is also perfect.

Right at the port so convenient for an overnight before the ferry. Restaurant next door is lovely. The hosts are incredible! Honestly felt like one of the family. While the location could’ve been better, the fact that the property is quite far from main roads helps ensure the quietness and full relaxation of the guests.
