Franco and his mother Emily were one of the most welcoming and nice people i got to meet while traveling to the French Polenesya. If you are looking for a simple and clean accomodation, that also help supporting the local community - I highly recommend it!!

El Mahana Lodge Hostel & Backpacker ofrece WiFi gratuita y se encuentra en Papeete. Las habitaciones disponen de TV de pantalla plana y consola de juegos. Hay cafetera. El hostal está de lujo. Llegué prontito y me dejaron darme una ducha para ir empezando el día. La chica de recepción es un encanto toooooodos los días. El cuarto tenía dos literas, con sus enchufes en cada cama y un locker para dejar tus pertenencias si traes candado. El desayuno es pan, mantequilla y mermeladas varias, café o te. Está al lado, literalmente, del mercado, de restaurantes y del ferry para Moreea. Desde el aeropuerto se llega perfectamente en bus. 100% recomendado.

A great place to stay if you are catching early morning flights. We were there on a Saturday night and there was a great selection of food vans nearby. There was always a cup of hot filter coffee available. Each room had a fan to keep cool and brush off any mozzies. I thought it was going to be very noisy, but was actually quite quiet.

Offered transport from the airport and recommended cheap motor scooter rentals and things to do in the country. Everyone staying there were very pleasant. Would definitely stay again if in Tahiti again.
