This place is absolutely perfect if you are looking to rest, relax, and enjoy the "Here and Now". The hosts, Libia and Yeti, are so welcoming and kind, and fun! The bed is amazing, so comfortable! Everything is sparkling clean, the air conditioning is wonderful, the fridge in our room welcomed us with complementary and fresh bottles of water, the swimming pool is a very sweet complement. On top of it all breakfast was great, with homemade Panamean food when available. Seriously, there is something truly special around this place. I am not sure whether it is the place itself or the people who built it, or (probably) both, but we loved every minute we spent there. Such a wonderful change from the hustle and bustle that we get from the usual hotel. We got to see the stars again, and enjoy the sounds of nature. No barking dogs or roosters or trucks, no honking or screeching, no TV. Just wild animals, crickets, birds, and the wind in the leaves. It was very difficult for us to leave this place and we sure are already planning to come back! Selina Venao River is an easy living oasis surrounded by trees & bordered by a river. It has an amazing pool for you to swim and take some sun. with a vegetarian restaurant right next to it. The receptionist was super friendly,helpful and warm.for the size of the room it was totally comfy,with small helpful gadgets like somewhere to hang your towel and a small bench.
