Well set in Christchurch, Drifter Christchurch provides air-conditioned rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi and a terrace. Although in general we have high requirements as guests, the drifter was the best hostel ever for us until now. The location is very convenient, walking distance to the centre. There are many places for socializing and good vibes. Even the kitchen, which is really busy sometimes, helps bringing people closer. Painting and free yoga courses are "plus".

Situated in Marahau, Kanuka Ridge Lodge is a short drive to the beach, the cafes, restaurants and the start of the Abel Tasman National Park. Free unlimited WiFi and private parking. Stuart is very welcoming and friendly. He makes us feel at home and gave great advice and what to do in the area. He was always around if we had any concerns or questions. We had a great time in this quiet and peaceful haven ! We definitely recommend and would book this stay again !

Located in Tuatapere, Last Light Lodge features a garden, shared lounge, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. All units at the hostel are equipped with a flat-screen TV and a kitchenette. Wonderful lodge with nice rooms & comfortable beds. New and clean bathrooms. Fully equipped spacious kitchen. But the best is Craig cooking this wonderful dinner and sharing the table with guests.

Situated in Oamaru, 35 km from Moeraki Boulders, Old Bones Lodge features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. We loved the huge communal area. The kitchen was spotless and well equipped. The room was also comfortable. A great location close to town, coast and penguins!

Global Village Travellers Lodge has free bikes, fitness centre, a garden and shared lounge in Greymouth. Room for 4 was good. Loved the little shelves and power points for each bed. Having a secure room was excellent too. The laundry facilities were terrific. Bathrooms were good and clean. Jacinda and her husband were extremely helpful and accommodating.

Situated in Castle Hill, 17 km from Broken River Ski Field, Forest Lodge features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and barbecue facilities. The best place I stayed at in NZ, still miss it! Loved it here, so cosy and beautiful location. Great kitchen and living room. It was not full when I was there which I liked. Amazing views too
