Picton
The property is surrounded by a garden with an abundance of fruit trees and vegetation and offers a variety of budget rooms such as private rooms with en-suites, a self-contained apartment or dormitory rooms using shared facilities. There are pets who live at the property including cats and a goat. Everything great. Staff, breakfast, room was super clean, shared rooms as well. Everything you need + jacuzzi! We really enjoyed our stay here. With my friends we made independently 2 bookings and when the gentleman saw we are friends he gave us immediately rooms next to each other without us needing to ask. That is what I call great customer service. Highly recommending this beautiful place. Plus cute cat.

Situated 300 metres from Picton Memorial Park Beach, The Villa offers 4-star accommodation in Picton and has a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. The hostel features a hot tub, a shared kitchen and free WiFi. The hostel is really cosy and beautiful and the location is perfect - it’s nearby the ferry terminal and the town centre. I loved the spa pool and outside areas!

Guests can choose to stay in a lively dormitory room or in the comfort of their own private room with a full kitchen. All rooms have access to a shared bathroom. Linen and towels are provided in most rooms. We stayed in a double room, the bed was very comfortable. I really like the design and paintings in the house - all these small details. The owners are very friendly.

Great location, interesting hostel interior, great staff and guests
It is a really nice and quiet hostel with a cosy community area. It's easy to meet new people The rooms are big and the beds are very comfortable Showers and toilets are clean The kitchen is well equipped, and the free breakfast is a very nice addition (thanks for that) A bit outside of the town centre. It's a 10-minute walk to the next supermarket and a 15-minute walk to the Interisland Ferry terminal. I didn't mind walking.
Very affordable place in a great location, close to ferry harbor. Many facilities were inside, including free breakfast. Atlantis owner was always somewhere around, and we could get some travel tips. She created a family-like atmosphere. Generally, I liked the hostel atmosphere, although for some guests it may seem weird. The room was comfortable, and the beds were too.
Fantastic backpacker hostel if you are backpacking in New Zealand. Very cheap and you can meet a lot of people. Also a nice cosy place and the staff are very helpful. The selfmade free dessert on 7pm is a very sweet touch too.
Beds were great. Staff very friendly. Cheap stay.
Great location. Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable. Perfect for our two night stop over. Close to supermarkets and main street. Parking available on site for free or just next door in council parking area (paid but cheap)!
Great location! The owner is a treasure, a lovely woman and I was made to feel welcomed. The communical areas were cool and they have a pool table. Great that there is free tea/coffee! Also only hostel I have stayed in so far that has air con!
You get what you pay for. Cheap hostel wt limited facilities. Good value for what you get. Free breakfast!
For the price we paid it was great. It had more than we expected for a backpacker accommodation. The double bed was comfortable, and sheets and blankets were provided. Our room also had its own toilet and shower and hand basin. The communal kitchen was close by and contained surprisingly many useful items for the campers to use for food preparation and hot drinks. For budget accommodation, it is A+ from my point of view.
Nice & warmly backpacker💜 We booked bunk bed without bedding due with bedding need to spent extra few dollar. After arrival, the staff of the hostel knew that we don’t have own bedding, she automatically provide us sleeping bag as she told the day very cold and we might need it for well sleep. The small action made me very touching. Strong recommended to those would like to stay overnight at Picton 👍
