Thomas and Tracy are great people. They help you with whatever you need and they welcome you warmly in their place. It was really easy to book shuttle and carparking for Tongariro with them. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and homey. You can play a lot of games at lobby and watch netflix. This was highlight of staying in NZ, lovely place with lovely people :)

Situated in the town of Ohakune, on the edge of Tongariro National Park, LKNZ Lodge & Cafe is within 5 minutes' walk of restaurants, bars and shops. It features a sauna, hot tubs and an on-site cafe. Close to town. The hot tub and sauna soothes aching muscles after walks. The staff went over and beyond to make my stay absolutely amazing. Love the waffles from the cafe. Thank you Ella and Bridget!

Set in Palmerston North, 1.2 km from Palmerston North Convention Centre, Penny's B&B Accommodation offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. Penny was so kind and welcoming, it was wonderful to meet her. It's a clean, tidy and quiet space to rest and sleep.

Set in National Park, 15 km from Mount Ruapehu, National Park Backpackers offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and barbecue facilities. Excellent staff service, Room, Toilet, kitchen and etc.

Located in Erua, within 21 km of Mount Ruapehu and 22 km of Taranaki Falls, The Crossing Lodge & Backpackers provides accommodation with a shared lounge and free WiFi throughout the property as well... The Crossing Lodge is a hostel, after accepting this, it is great for its price. The description and photos correspond to reality, so examine them carefully to see if they meet your requirements. The directions for self-check-in were straightforward, those guests who reported difficulties did not read them carefully. I recommend you give time to read so you have no problems! There is a lounge with a pool to play in, a large dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen. The heating is central and hot enough, but we could control it manually through the blinds on the floor. WiFi was OK. Although we had an annoying isolated incident of bedbugs which can happen anywhere, the owner's behavior was immediate and responsible.

Set in Pahiatua, 37 km from Palmerston North Convention Centre, Club Hotel Pahiatua offers accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking and a bar. The pub onsite was handy to relax with a drink & the staff were helpful & friendly. Was a good stop while passing through the town.
