HI Bergen Hostel Montana is situated up the hillside of Mount Ulriken, about 3.6 km from Bergen City Centre and easily accessed by public transportation. A grocery store and different hiking trails are located next to the hostel. Free parking is available for our guests. It is near Ulriken Mountain. Easily can go to center by bus. Breakfast was great for its value. And they have extra free activities contributed by the volunteers and lots of free spaces inside and outside to hungout.

A communal kitchen with all facilities is available for all guests at Hardanger Hostel B&B. A buffet breakfast is served each morning in the dining room.

Relaxation options at Hardanger Hostel B&B include a sauna. A game of table tennis can also be enjoyed on site. Barbecue facilities are also provided. The location is absolutely wonderful. The budget room we stayed in was quite comfortable. The hostel is better than the photos. Very good breakfast.

We had a perfect stay in the guesthouse. The rooms are spacious, and the Thai food in the local restaurant is fantastic. The staff was exceptionally helpful, they gave us recommendations and even helped us get back to the guesthouse when we were stranded some villages away due to an avalanche. We highly recommend a stay here.

At the hostel, each room includes a patio with a mountain view. At Hardanger Basecamp all rooms include a shared bathroom and bed linen. We stayed in a yurt for two nights. The interior was extremely cosy and everything was lovingly decorated. Unfortunately there was a lot of rain during our stay so we could not do too many activities outside. Instead we taught the kids how to make a fire, we had excellent camp meals and at night cuddled in the (heated) yurts with our fluffy blankets. Pancake breakfast was an extraordinary experience in the little café, especially for the children. Overall highly recommended.
