Central Stavanger Guesthouse is situated in Stavanger, 3.6 km from Stavanger Art Museum and 6 km from Norwegian Petroleum Directorate. Owner was amazing and very helpful. The hostel is clean, confortable and very well located. Nice common area to socialize.

Solborg Folkehøgskole Hostel is located 300 metres from Stavanger Art Museum. WiFi is available for free. Guests can relax in the furnished garden or the shared lounge. Basic but very clean accommodation with good breakfast and lovely and very helpful staff. There are washing machines and drying facilities which one can use free of charge ! I thought this was amazing as we were running out of clean clothes after camping and kayaking in the fjords . Location is great ,approximately 30 minutes/3km pleasant walk through a park to Bergen town centre . There was also bus available for those who would not want to walk and the bus stop is very close .A supermarket open from 7-23 is 5 minutes away .
