The Alibi Hostel is located in the old prison in the city centre of Leeuwarden. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. There is a shared kitchen, hairdresser's, and gift shop at the property. It’s 15min walking from the station and very close to the city center. The style of the hostel is really nice. Plus, they have the nicest staff there.

A 27-km coastline of white sand, a beautiful dune landscape and picturesque villages – this is Ameland in a nutshell. Free Wi-Fi is available at Sier aan Zee. Location was excellent! 5 minutes walk to the beach and in the other direction 5 minutes walk to the forest. Kids loved feeding the ducks at the nearby nursery. Island itself is lovely and distances between villages are easily manageable by bike.
