Facing the beachfront in Guayabas, Porã Chacahua features a private beach area and a bar. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen and free WiFi. We loved our time at Pora! Beautiful beachside location, lovely and helpful staff including a full crew of volunteers, teepee was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious (if slightly expensive - easy to ignore in such a nice place) and the kitchen is well-stocked. It's about 40 mins into town but the flipside is a great feeling of detachment from the old World. Hammocks are fab. Surprisingly straightforward access given all the "it's really hard to get here" stuff online. We'd love to return one day as volunteers.

Trotamundo Oaxaca Hostel is set in Oaxaca City, within 5.8 km of Monte Alban and 47 km of Mitla. Moses was very kind and informative. He kindly let us leave our bags when we went out for the day. The is water provided, a kitchen, a nice outside space to sit and small garden. The bed was comfortable.

Set in Oaxaca City, within 7.5 km of Monte Alban and 46 km of Mitla, Yabanhi Hostel features accommodation with free WiFi throughout the property. Very good stay, clean room, very friendly staff, and nice terrace with excellent view. Good location, a short 10 min walk to the city center and other areas of interest.

Offering an outdoor pool, Casa Losodeli is located in the tropical town of Puerto Escondido, just 650 metres from the beach. It features 24-hour reception and free Wi-Fi. Everything was great. The staff were very helpful. The hostel has a WhatsApp group and you get all activities and if you are a solo traveler, it's a good way to meet people. The pool was very nice to relax in. 10 minutes walk to the beach where you can swim, 4 minutes walk to Colectivo to go other places. Would definitely come back there.

Matatagpuan sa Brisas de Zicatela at nasa 2 minutong lakad ng Playa Zicatela, ang Hostal Juárez Puerto Escondido ay mayroon ng hardin, mga non-smoking na kuwarto, at libreng WiFi sa buong... Great location, a few mins walk to the beach and in a peaceful location away from the busy main area. The guys who run it were lovely - happy to help and helped give the place really positive vibes. A very relaxing place.

Confetti Pool Club in San Pablo Villa de Mitla provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a terrace and a bar. Staff is amazing and will help you with everything you need. The place is very clean, well equipped and with great view of the sunset

Frutas y Verduras features an outdoor swimming pool, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Puerto Escondido. Providing a bar, the property is located within a few steps of Zicatela Beach. Beautiful property right in the heart of Punta Zicatela. Staff were all excellent, accommodating our late arrival and even getting our laundry finished for us before check out the following morning. Wish we could have stayed longer

Ideally set in the centre of Oaxaca City, Hostal Nordés features free WiFi, a terrace and free private parking for guests who drive. They did everything in their power to make me happy and the value for Money is insane. Checked around and there isn't an option even close to what you get there and in this location.

Set in Oaxaca City and with Monte Alban reachable within 7.1 km, Hostal Andaina offers concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi throughout the property and a terrace. The staff is very nice and helpful, always ready to provide some general information. The room was quite big for the 3 of us, which was appreciated. Everyone could have their own corner to place their stuff. The hostel also offers free coffee and water, which is also very nice. Decent WiFi, we did not have any problems with this during our stay. All in all it is a simple but nice place that offers good value for money. Especially during this busy week (Día de Muertos), I would not think it twice! Recommended for sure!
