The best hostel I have ever stayed in, not only it is beautiful and really well located; but it also has the most amazing and kind staff! It is also way less expensive that the other options on the island.

Located in Saint-François, 500 metres from Raisins Clairs Beach, Sunset Surf Camp provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a bar. Sunset Surf Camp is such a lovely place! From the moment I arrived I felt like home. The energy in this place is incomparable. The pool is so nice and Peyo and Babette, the hosts, are very nice and welcoming. I would 100% stay at Sunset Surf Camp again. The wifi works very well, the kitchen is well equipped, the rooms are comfortable and clean (I stayed in a single bedroom). I also met some amazing people during my stay here so if you are a solo traveler, this is PERFECT for you. The beach, bakery and convenience store are an 8min walk from the hostel. There is also a bar right next to it which is really fun for dancing, meeting people and having good drinks. I can’t wait to come back!

Located in Oracabessa, Green Queendom Farm and Lodging features a garden, shared lounge, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. Everything! Location is great and the land is great to walk on. Lyne is such a great host, we shared many stories and she was very helpful. So clean, fully equipped kitchen and very comfortable bed.

Situated in El Yaque and with Playa el Yaque reachable within 100 metres, Sleep'n'Ride features concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a shared lounge. Excellent location right on the Yaque beach. Small shops around for the basic needs. Very friendly owner, always around with helpful tips about the area. The facilities are basic, but sufficient - AC in the room (a bit noisy, but it works). A very chill, backpacking vibe.

Beautiful, lush property with lots of personality! Sue knows how to put together a hostel! The fishing beaches nearby are lovely. We stayed here as a compromise between my desire to stay somewhere off the beaten path, and my partners desire to spend time in Negril. It was a short drive to Negril and I really felt like I got to see a different side of Jamaica.

SLABDR CoLiving, once Surf Salvación has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and bar in Cabarete. It has everything you need, it’s clean and comfortable, in a quiet area, close to the surf beach (walking distance).

Located in Las Galeras, less than 1 km from Las Galeras Beach, La Hacienda Hostel provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The owner has quite a few dogs and some Horse too. If you want you can book a ride. I didn't as I am a bit afraid of riding anything with their own brain! The hostel was one of the most peaceful in my travels to the point where I can imagine not wanting to leave. The town itself has little actual activities except for the really nice beaches. I hiked for about 35 minutes to one very nice one that was totally like the one from the movie the Beach. Road there gets a bit rough the last 1/4 mile. Just can't drive faster than about 15 mph. I have a feeling in 5 more years this whole area will blow up like so many of the other gems.

You get what you see in the pictures. Modern, clean and cosy room, good size for two people. The location is 5 minutes walk from the buzzing area. They offer bikes and rent-a-cars. The kitchen is not fully equipped however youll have a microwave and a fridge, which is fine for a couple of days stay.
