Featuring a terrace, Dar houda is located in Fès in the Fes-Meknes region, 2.7 km from Royal Palace Fes and 800 metres from Batha Square. I had a great stay at Dad houda. Everything is very clean, it‘s beautifully decorated and Hicham is a excellent host. Don‘t miss to try their Pastilla, the best I‘ve had in all Morocco.

The hostel is in very good location, at the edge of medina. The host gave me great tip how to find it in the labirinth of medina streets, so I didn't have much problems with scammers on the street. Hostel has wonderful terrace with amazing view. The room was nice, bed sheets included (the last night was a bit cold and we got extra blankets without asking the host for them). Beds, rooms and toilets perfectly clean, toilet paper available at all time. I could use kitchen to prepare my morning coffee and also to cook something. Every bed in dorms has locker. Wifi works good. The atmosphere in the hostel was amazing. Karim, the host, is very generous and helpful, he gave me good advice, how to come to the hostel from the airport by bus, which was much much cheaper than taxi. For going back he organized me a taxi driver to the airport because I had to leave very early in the morning.

Located in Fès and with Royal Palace Fes reachable within 2.9 km, Funky Fes provides concierge services, rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi throughout the property and a terrace. The property is in a nice neighborhood with many shops around to pick up necessities. Plus it is a very easy walk to all the tourist spots and some off the beaten path places. The rooms are clean with comfy beds and probably the best pillows I’ve had at a hostel. The same goes for the bathroom. Strong hot water, clean and spacious and attached to the room which is nice. Then the cherry on the cake is the people who work there; Leila and Malak with their friend and the volunteer make it such a lovely place to come back to after a stint of exploring. They are knowledgeable about the area, helpful beyond belief so far as helping me to extend,and offering tips on what to do and as well so fun(truly the people make the place !)

Located in Fès, within 300 metres of Batha Square and 600 metres of Medersa Bouanania, Hostel Speakeasy Fes offers accommodation with free WiFi throughout the property. Personal was VERY nice. Set in Taza, Gîte Dayet Chiker has a garden, shared lounge and free WiFi. Guests can enjoy garden views. At the hostel, the rooms come with a terrace with a lake view. I have spent several trips to remote parts of Morocco for fossil studies and this has been my favorite. Stunning location, warm luxurious meals, and a very gracious host. I would absolutely come back!! If you want a beautiful, natural Morocco off the beaten path, but comfortable and safe, this should be a top destination. Stayed with three students and spouse.

Featuring a garden, shared lounge and free WiFi, Youth Hostel International Fez is located in Fès, 1.4 km from Royal Palace Fes and 1.2 km from Fes Railway Station. The Youth Hostel International in Fèz - the oldest hostel in Morocco by the way - was definitely one of the best hostels, where I could stay over night at. Although we were here only for about 14 hours, we really did enjoy the time, because we could feel the hospitality since minute one. Very accomodating hostel owner that recommended us some must-see destinations im the city and were all-time ready for a little talk. My personal highlight: the nourishing breakfast with croissant, omelette and Moroccan bread, plus very tasteful mint tea, the first one I drank here in this beautiful country. So, thank you for the beautiful stay and the cozy, atmospheric room - loved it here all along.

Mustafá and Ayoub were extremely kind, they helped us with everything. The hostal is well located, good price for a private room with private bathroom.
