The location is perfect, close to the old town and the bus station. The staff os very friendly. Possibility of doing laundry was a big plus. What's also quite unusual was breakfast from 8am to 12pm. Atmosphere is also very cozy, lots of art on the walls.

At the hostel, every room comes with a balcony. Featuring a shared bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer, certain rooms at Lubāna mitrāja informācijas centrs also provide guests with a river view. All units include bed linen. During my stay there was no one else in the apartment so I got everything for myself. There is all the basics for kitchen except oven. Lovely balcony with evening sun. I counted three birds nests with chicks on the balcony. Location of this place is some sort of magical.

Perfect hostel with all the ingredients that a backpacker looks for, even in the small details ! Nice, affordable place with discount(making it actually cheaper in price than most youth hostels), walkable to most sites in the city centre, check-in is easy, inner space is decent and roomy (as most places in Riga), and the room is well heated up in a damp, cold Spring.
Really nice looking hostel that was freshly renovated. Cheap, clean, and central. What else can a backpacker look for! The staff was also amazing and I received a wonderful welcome. 10/10 would absolutely come back!
Very social hostel with kind staff and equally kind other backpackers. The breakfast was great, and the hostel-organised activities such as the pubcrawl were fun too. Very nice place to meet new people with good facilities.

Very friendly and helpful staff, atmosphere at the hostel felt like visiting a family, free coffee and tea, cozy interior, great location in the centre of Riga, big space with kitchen to meet and talk to other people staying at the hostel. We even went to the bar all together on Friday evening! I recommend it to everyone, especially solo travellers who like to meet new people from different countries on the way!
Small family vibe, awesome staff, good affordable beer, always new people to meet and hang out with, one of the best hostels I've been to in years. I booked 4 nights and ended up staying for 2 weeks.
