It's a short walk to the historic heart of Bscharre as well as restaurants, supermarkets and sites of interest. I'd booked a bed in a dorm, and because there was availability, he generously upgraded me to a private room at no extra cost. Whenever I had a question about local experiences, he was a WhatsApp message away (and diligently provided information and happily so) ... I felt part of the family. He also connected me to locals who were able to show me the highlights of the region. The building has charm, the rooms are tidy, and some have recently been renovated. I'd stay here again, in a heartbeat.

Fantastic location in the heart of Tripoli, walking distance to the souks and the citadel. Nice clean room as well. Also within 5 min walk of where the buses from Beirut drop you off. The owner has also created a huge list of everything to do in the area and he also gives really good recommendations of places to stay in other areas of Lebanon. Would recommend anyone venturing into Tripoli to stay here.
