This is away from the touristy part of the island in an authentic small village. The hosts were wonderful and so helpful. Sunset aperitif on the beach watching the stars come out a must! Sad to leave.

Located in Amami, 700 metres from Higashi Beach, みーまん奄美 provides accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking and a bar. I had a great time at Minam! The place itself is clean, comfortable, relaxing. The surrounding area is so beautiful and peaceful. Not many people with Many amazing beaches really close by. The people were fun and kind. Highly recommend and definitely want to come back! I think it’s the best place to experience the Amami life.

The place was clean, self check-in was simple, and there were some nice extra features like laundry, free snacks, and Netflix. (I treated myself to a movie on New Year's Eve!). The bunk in the dorm was so comfortable, and the fans and windows made sure it didn't get stuffy. Lots of rules and instructions, but they were clearly printed so easy to use Google Translate on.

Hostel Tomal asub Kagoshimas, vähem kui 1 km kaugusel Kagoshima linna kunstimuuseumist ja 7-minutilise jalutuskäigu kaugusel Sengoku Tenjinist. Kohapeal on ühine köök, pakihoid ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus.... I had a great stay! It really felt like home! Shoko was very kind and helpful.. she let me leave my bag for a day and also leant me a charger. It is a good location and a nice space! I’ll definitely come back!
