Located a 10-minute walk from Santa Maria Train Station, Plus Florence is a hostel offering rooms and dormitories with free WiFi throughout. It is 1 km from Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral. The location was perfect for us to see around the city, distance from the train station and meeting points for all tours we booked. We booked two double-bed rooms & they have family rooms too. The breakfast was so great. Sadly, we could have breakfast only 1 day, as we had early morning tours planned. The staff was so helpful.

Once a 15th-century Franciscan monastery, Chiostro Delle Monache is just outside Volterra's Etruscan walls, next to the Presidio Ospedaliero Santa Maria Maddalena hospital. The staff were wonderful and went beyond the call of duty to be helpful. They were pleasant, friendly and polite.
