The bedrooms were small and cozy, just perfect for the single bed I had. The common space was comfy, well lit, and had a kitchen stocked with dishes. The whole facility was very clean, bathroom too. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, even let the guests say hello to their horses. Overall a great experience and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a small, cozy stay at a farm.

This Icelandic horse farm provides accommodation in Haukadalur Valley, 90 minutes’ drive from Reykjavik. Overlooking Geysir, it offers a guest lounge, garden and horse riding tours. Very clean, very comfortable, very nice location and great people.

Located within the famous Golden Circle sightseeing trail, Héradsskólinn Historic Guesthouse overlooks Lake Laugarvatn, Hekla Volcano and the Eyjafjallajökull Glacier. Unique place, beautiful architecture, friendly and nice staff, comfy room and nice amenities. The location was also really nice, close to Laugarvatn hot water and restaurant, where the volcanic bread is a must try!

Situated by Route 1 in central Selfoss, this accommodation offers free parking, free WiFi access and brightly decorated guest rooms. The Selfoss Geothermal Swimming Pool is 350 metres away. Perfect place to rest if you are traveling in the area without having to go sell a kidney ehhehe. Staff is nice and helpful. Thank you Alda for the help with my mistake booking the wrong dates and letting me sleep for 1 more hour :) Spacious room with a double bed. Nice views to the neighbourhood. Sink in the room. Very confortable bed! Was sharing 2 full bathrooms with 4 or 5 rooms, everything was nice and clean. Doors can be a little bit noisy but after everyone went to bed is complete silence. Highly recomend Selfoss Hostel, i will come back for sure. Very good value for money!
