I was lucky to stay in this hostel which just opened two weeks ago. Everything is new. The room is very private and comfortable. What surprised me was that the room was very quiet all day long without any noise. The lobby is also very comfortable and cozy. There are many toilets and there is plenty of time and hot water for showering. The kitchen is not only clean but also equipped with all the kitchen utensils. I am also very grateful to a Chilean employee who is very enthusiastic and cheerful and helped us a lot.

We booked a private room which has a bunk bed, for the price we paid it was pretty decent, there's a lot of toilets and shower area, situated in a more quiet area I would say which is nice and location wise, it's near the famous church in Reykjavik, so it is easy to walk around to the center, it's a 15min walk to the bus terminals going to and from the airport and pick up point for excursions, We did everything by walk and never took the bus in the city. the common area is very spacious with common kitchen too.

Located 3.5 km from Reykjavik city centre, this eco-certified hostel is beside the geothermally heated Laugardalslaug Swimming Pool. Everything was excellent. The rooms and sitting areas were clean. The kitchen areas were well-stocked with cooking supplies and if you need to temporarily leave bags or luggage, you can put them in the short-term storage room. The staff were helpful and the location was also very good. It is within walking distance to several restaurants.

The modern B14 Hostel is 2.8 km from Laugavegur, Reykjavik's main street and offers free WiFi, parking and a well-equipped communal kitchen. Laugardalur Swimming Pool is 2.3 km away. I booked to stay in b14 hostel but something happened and they moved me to b14 apartments in the center, so my rating is related to b14 apartments. Amazing rooms, amazing view, very quiet and comfortable.

Central Reykjavik is 10 minutes’ walk from this hostel, which is set on the University of Iceland’s campus. It offers a communal kitchen and free WiFi in common areas. The location was perfect and included free parking. All shared facilities were very clean and there was everything you need to cook in the shared kitchen.
