Best hostel I've found in Ireland! Located right on the main street, it's close to the pubs and grocery stores, and a short walk away from the pier. Rooms and common spaces are spacious and bright, furniture and decorations nice, beds comfortable and with individual sockets/usb plugs, the dorm ensuite bathroom always clean. What I loved the most however was the great, positive and homely atmosphere. Cooking together in the kitchen or sharing tables at breakfast made it feel like very cosy. The Grapevine seems to attract a lot of lovely people, many of them solo travelling. I've had some very interesting conversations there and I'll surely choose to stay there again during my next stay in Dingle!

I have never seen proper thick mattresses on bunk beds, didn't leave much space to sit up on the bottom bunk but so comfortable and I didn't come there to sit. Host is very friendly and gave us great food and live music recommendations. Place was clean, felt like home.

The hostel was one of the best places we found in Ireland. Simply in a fantastic place. It is a hostel that should be preserved as it is. Simple (not elegant) and just in front of the sea.
