I start with the biggest pros. The hostel is in the best place you can think of when you want to visit Glendalough. If you travel alone to Glendalough and you are a little on the budget, its the best option. Also, it's very convenient that the bus stop is very close. If you by food ahead you can cook later, the kitchen looked well equipped.

This is a great location for strolling the promenade and walking. Staff have bent over backwards to help me as I had to stay extra due to medical situation of husband. Food services are excellent, diverse and are served quickly. Lively and enjoyable area at front of hotel for both guests and locals. Lovely experience. Rates much cheaper than Dublin but with better rooms. Handy to trainline.

Excellent location, very peaceful environment and friendly and helpful staff! The kitchen is clean and well equipped. The common areas and the room were very spacious. I recommend staying at Glendalough Youth Hostel!
