The staff is really very kind and welcoming. As a girl who travels alone they reassured me a lot, and every time I was in the lounge until late with other people they came to ask me if everything was okay. They put me in a girls only room even though I hadn't reserved it, because there was space and staying for a month was really appreciated.

Our room was okay with everything needed for a cheap nights accommodation and it's set in a great location for getting around Newcastle easily.

Welcoming staff. Great location. Impressively designed public areas and decor which felt much higher spec than most budget hotels. Good range of continental breakfast choices. Nice touch that the room cleaning staff leave you a little note stating who cleaned your room in case you have any issues
Great location - stayed on the quayside before. This was much better. Staff were very welcoming & friendly. (Standard double) room on 5th floor was a decent size. Plenty of lighting options. Bed (though smaller than expected) was comfy. Storage sufficient and safe/ironing facilities were a good addition. Bathroom a decent size and toiletries great. The odd sign of wear and tear but didn’t detract overall. Hotel generally very stylish.

I was a little apprehensive as first stay in a hostel but was pleasantly surprised how good it was. Comfoartable, clean and felt very safe
Really great place for solo travelers! I have never felt so comfortable and safe in a hostel. The staff was really nice and helpful. The room and the ensuit bathroom were cleaned everyday. Overall a really nice place even for longer stays. Decent breakfast. Great location too. There were no issues when I asked to stay for another week, and they even made sure I was able to stay in the same room.
