The place was very clean, comfortable, and conveniently situated. Despite being told that bed assignments were automated, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my request for a bottom bunk, and I'm grateful for their efforts.

CoDE Co-Living - The LoFT is set on Rose Street North Lane, just a short walk from Princes Street. It offers modern interiors within a red brick-clad period building. This was such a great little pod perfect for a solo traveler. The rooms were clean, plenty of space for using the bathroom considering it is shared, everything was digital from checkin procedures to the locker codes. I felt safe, I had enough privacy and the common kitchen was so nice they even thought to provide guests with food labels for the fridge. For a solo traveler looking for a decent reliable place to sleep in a clean and fairly private surrounding this was great value for money. The location was perfect. They also provide extra lockers to store luggage on the day you checkout so you can still travel without carrying your bags, they really thought of everything!

Five minutes’ walk from Edinburgh Station and less than 10 minutes from Edinburgh Castle, Royal Mile Backpackers enjoys a central location surrounded by bars, cafés and restaurants. If you want a chilled and relaxed evening, there are games and an in-house cinema for you. If you want fun and hyper, there are arrangements to experience the best nightlife. If you want outdoor hikes and tours, that's also available. The staff are friendly, proactive, and professional. You can ask them the same question 1001 times, and you'll get a polite response each time. The information sharing about booking and the facility was adequate, and the response to messages was very timely.

Haystack Hostel ligger kun en 50 meter fra Edinburghs livlige Princes Street, i en renovert georgiansk bygning fra 1800-tallet. The hostel is located close to the train station and old city, we found it very easy to reach everything per food. The rooms were clean and welcoming, and the staff was very nice.
