Lochranza
Set on the banks of Loch Ranza, opposite a 16th-century ruined castle, Lochranza Youth Hostel is located on the Cock of Arran trail, which provides a scenic low level trek. A large communal kitchen and a games area in the lounge feature at this hostel. Very clean place to stay right across the castle and a nice little pub nearby. Helpful staff and well maintained. Will stay again.
Brodick
Guest rooms at the hostel are equipped with a flat-screen TV and a kitchen. The units at Shore Lodge come with a shared bathroom and bed linen.
King's Cave is 19 km from Shore Lodge, while Lochranza Castle is 21 km away. The nearest airport is Glasgow Prestwick Airport, 52 km from the hostel.
Quiet, at bottom of footpath to Goatfell, adjacent Brodick Castle and Island Botanicals
Great location Lovely friendly staff Excellent facilities
Great location and even better staff would definitely recommend
Would highly recommend! The room was amazing, has everything you need and in a great location. The host Agnes was wonderful and so friendly, by far the best place I've stayed in!
Great location on Arran. Property was perfect. Very comfortable and clean, with all the facilities you need. A homely feel with all the extras that made it special. Thank you
Great location. Lovely big room with a sea view. Very clean. Friendly staff.
Clean Great location
Great location, stunning views. My only complaint is the rooms being faaar too hot.. a wee fan would have been nice!
Great location - easy walking distance to some fine dining place - the “Pierhead Tavern” & the “Drift Inn” both outstanding 👌 although there were others we didn’t try but looked equally good.. Car parking safe & a few metres from the lodges ✅ The lodges are compact but offer most of what you could need ✅ Good powerful shower ✅
Very comfortable, very friendly. Great room as well as well-equipped communal spaces. I haven't used a Youth Hostel in years and I was really impressed!
Great location, with easy walking distance of the rest of the town. Great views over the sea and Goat Fell. Perfect accommodation for our walking party of 9. We had 3 flats (#2, #5 & #6), with twin beds, bunk beds and a double. There's also a drying room and laundry facilities for wet and dirty gear. Good value for money.
