Boasting a shared lounge, Blue Room Hostel Newquay is set in the centre of Newquay, 500 metres from Tolcarne Beach. I was very happy at Blue Room Hostel, I stayed one night in the 10 bed women's dorm. The bed was very comfy, everything was clean, had a lovely hot shower in the en-suite bathroom. There's a lovely and spacious common area with sofas, tables, chairs, books, a microwave, a fridge... On a rainy day this would be great. Also a TV room that looked very comfy. You can also sit outside the front of the house and enjoy the morning sun. :)) The owner, Lee, is super nice and involved, and takes care of things himself, which gives the hostel a friendly and personal atmosphere. Big difference to chain hostels. There's even a breakfast in the morning! Also loved the location, it's in a quiet neighbourhood, so you can sleep well, but in five minutes walk you're at the main street, the bus station, the train station and the beach. Couldn't be better.

Situated in a picturesque valley on the rugged north Cornwall coast, this National Trust-owned property is on the harbour edge. Affordable, comfortable accommodation is offered at this YHA hostel. Absolutely stunning location by the river. We enjoyed seeing the tide making the river water levels go up and down. 15min walk to the seaside, amazing views from the cliffs. Quiet but very close to all local amenities. Special thanks to super friendly staff who made us feel welcome and comfortable.

Set in Sennen, 1.7 km from Nanjizal Beach, Lands End Hostel and B&B offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. We had a lovely stay, everything was very clean, the atmosphere was great and it's just a 15 min walk from Lands End!

Dolphins Backpackers has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Tintagel. Dolphins Backpackers is a relatively cheap stay at Tintagel, therefore I didn't really know what to expect at first when I got there. But from the moment I arrived it exceeded all my expectations! John and Leah are both very friendly and welcoming and will make sure everything is okay for you. The atmosphere at the hostel is just everything, it is very easy to make new friends here. Also the location is at walking distance from everything as it is located in the middle of Tintagel village. And since you are staying at Dolphins, you can get a backpackers discount at a lot of cafe's and restaurants. What I also really loved was how clean everything is. I even dared to touch the shower walls and walk barefoot, which means a lot for a hostel. Even right now in London where I am staying in a hostel which is even out of my budget, the showers feel smudgy, but at Dolphins Backpackers, John and Leah make sure everything is super clean.

Boasting a garden, BBQ facilities and views of garden, Falmouth Lodge is situated in Falmouth, 200 metres from Falmouth - Gyllyngvase. Judi was a wonderful host! We had a splendid time, everything was exceptional well made. We were able to check in earlier than stated and Judi even washed and dried our clothes for a very reasonable price of £8

Located in the picturesque Cornwall village of Treyarnon, this YHA hostel is just 50 metres from the sandy beach. Clean, Great location .. I had a sea view and watched the sunset! Nice, friendly staff. Good food.

Set in a Georgian mansion, YHA Penzance features a traditional restaurant and leafy gardens. Penzance Seafront is a 15-minute walk away, and Newlyn Harbour is just 1.5 miles away. I had the best holiday in England Devon County with Plymouth and Torquay as the only cities i visited, but what cities? Amazing! Penzance and Lands End in Cornwall, very small city with clean fresh sea air from the big blue Ocean in the Atlantic Sea. The small town of Penzance was amazing with the Pirate Inn as my favorite pub eventhough they kicked me out because of callers, it was still an incredible experience to explore. And the hostel YHA in Penzance absolutely amazing 10 times better than any hostel in London. You could buy a very good beer and the breakfast was plenty full with juice coffee and tea. Youghurt toastbread with butter and strawberry marmelade. Lands End was so stunning to see. Plymouth was so much fun and cozy and i had a good night sleep in Admiral Mcbride hotel. Many Pirates have been to this part of the world it was like Captain Hook and his crew was there. It was like coming from a very dark room (Denmark) into the bright light side(England Southwest).
