Bath City Centre, Bath
Bath YMCA Hostel is conveniently set in Bath, and features a garden, free WiFi and a shared lounge. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. The property is non-smoking and is located 400 metres from The Circus Bath. Staff are excellent, welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful, gave local tips like a community pub with live music, and where to buy cheaper food. Love the air fryer - you can cook pretty much whatever you fancy. Showers are great, rooms are clean, but mostly what I liked is it's a nice atmosphere, it has a kind vibe. Calm and quiet in the evenings if that's what you're after, which I was, traveling for work on a super tight budget, will come back again if working in the area.

This character building had a great location. One feels the history of the area. Old pub room for an evening drink was cozy. Location was great as we could walk into the centre of the old city easily. No breakfast was available for us, but the staff recommended an amazing breakfast place across the street with which we were very pleased. Our luggage was safely kept for us after we checked out - so we could wander through Bath at our leisure.
Great location. Cheap and did the job for an overnight stay
Very cheap and great location, right in the center of bath.
I stayed for 8 nights and it's by far my best hostel experience. Attracts a surprising diversity of folks (especially lovely to see more "mature" travelers as well), has something for everyone (from everyday activities to a very lovely kitchen), and all in all extremely thoughtfully designed and executed (special props to the volunteers who keep it all lively-- they even cooked for us two of the nights I was there).
Central location, beds comfy.Cheap. I would stay there again if no other hostels available.
It’s on par with most backpackers. The one that makes this one better is the fact that it is in Bath. Cheap and Bath is awesome!
Beautiful apartment with quality fixtures and fittings. Spotlessly clean and with everything you could possibly need for a short break. Great location (but at the top of a rather steep hill), safe and with private parking.
The bunk bed was surprisingly comfortable and warm. The dormitory was clean and the toilets and showers were too. The location is just a short walk from the city centre, but far enough to be very quiet and give you somehow the feeling that you are in a country house. Wi-Fi was working correctly all through the hostel.
Great location if you're visiting Bath but if you're staying more than one night, don't go cheap. No fault of the hostel's but the six bed Room # 1was noisy, people on Green Street and other hostellers arriving late. Bath room not awful but cramped. Would try the double next time if not travelling alone.
