Anne-Marie was a friendly, helpful, welcoming host with lots of information about Calanques National Park and all the beaches in the area. She is a native French speaker but can communicate in English. I couldn’t ask for more from a hostel! The outdoor area is absolutely beautiful and charming, with lots of plants, and places to hang wet clothes. The location is a five minute walk from the center, and the port, and there are restaurants even closer. There is a stove, microwave, fridge, freezer, two communal bathrooms and showers. The property is very quaint but there is lots of space, with only six people per room (there are two rooms total) However, other amenities aren’t plentiful. -no laundry machines, but there is a laundromat right down the street with washers and dryers for roughly €10 - very minimal free breakfast -like many hostels in Europe, you pay a few euros for city tax in cash at the end of your stay -not a party hostel at all but everyone was friendly and had great vibes (which I prefer)

Kendi avlusu olması gerçekten güven veren bir ayrıntı. Konumu iyiydi. Çok ara sokaklara girmeden ulaşılabiliyor. Yine de dikkat etmek gerekir, hostelden çıktıktan sonra iki kişi bir araba ile durup birseyler söyledi Fransızca. Yoldan geçen bir kadın iyi şeyler söylemediğini iletti. Çok güvenli bir şehir olmadığını düşünürsek, The People ve küçük bahçesi çok iyi bir seçenek.

The host was very friendly and she allowed us to check in earlier as the room was ready and she was on site. We went to Castellane for 1 night from Nice to stargaze the perseids meteor shower and we had an incredible experience. It was also accessible to contemplate from the backyard of L'Oustaou hostel, there are deckchairs available.
